Our methodology

How we find clinics, verify them, calculate prices, and stay independent. We're a directory, not a clinic — we don't perform surgery, and we don't take a cut of what you pay.

✓ Independent — not owned by any clinic ✓ No pay-for-placement ✓ We take no cut of your treatment ✓ Real prices, sourced & dated

1. Who we are

Right Hair Transplant is an editorial directory of hair transplant clinics across the United States and Turkey. We help patients compare clinics, understand real costs, and request consultations. We are not a clinic, a broker, or a booking agency — we do not perform procedures and we are not paid a commission when you choose a clinic.

2. How we source & verify clinics

Clinics enter our directory in two ways: we compile them from public sources (clinic websites, professional-body registries, and public business listings), and clinics can submit or claim their own listing. Before a clinic is presented as verified, we check:

  • Credentials — whether the operating surgeon is ABHRS board-certified or affiliated with the ISHRS, and whether the clinic is a registered medical practice.
  • Identity — a real, verifiable business location and a working public presence.
  • Reputation signals — publicly available patient reviews on Google and Yelp (see how we handle ratings below).

We do not publish patient before-and-after photographs scraped from third-party sources. To protect patient privacy and avoid using medical images without clear consent, listing imagery is limited to clinic-provided or neutral assets.

3. How our pricing works

Hair transplant clinics almost always price per graft, so that's the unit we standardize on. For each city we show prices from two clearly-labeled sources:

  1. Real, sourced prices — where a clinic publicly states its per-graft or package pricing (on its own website or in published materials), we record that figure with the source and the month we captured it. We currently hold sourced per-graft pricing for 67 US cities, compiled into our Hair Transplant Cost Index.
  2. Transparent model estimates — where a city has no published local figure, we fall back to a national FUE range of $3–$8 per graft in the US and $1.50–$2.50 per graft for accredited Turkish clinics, and we label it as an estimate.

A few rules keep the numbers honest:

  • We never invent a clinic name, a doctor, or an exact price. If we can't source a figure, we say "estimate" and use the transparent model above — we don't fabricate specificity.
  • When a city has only a single published data point (so its low and high would be nearly identical), we widen the visible high end to reflect real market spread rather than implying false precision, and we note it.
  • Clinic aggregators and lead-generation sites are excluded from named-example pricing — we cite the treating clinic, not a middleman.
  • Every price line carries the month it was last updated. Prices change; a dated figure is an honest figure.

Our on-page calculator uses exactly this per-graft method — grafts × the applicable per-graft rate — so the estimate you see is reproducible, not a black box.

4. How ratings work

When we show a star rating, it comes from a single, real, verifiable source — either Google or Yelp, whichever has more reviews for that clinic — and we label which one. We deliberately do not blend platforms into a synthetic average, because a blended number matches no source a reader could independently check. We also do not republish individual review text as structured data.

5. Editorial independence

Placement, ranking, and "verified" status are never for sale. A clinic cannot pay to rank higher, to remove a competitor, or to alter a price we've sourced. Clinics can claim and enrich their listing, but the editorial layer — pricing, credential checks, and how clinics are ordered — stays with us.

6. How often we update

City price pages and the Cost Index are reviewed on a rolling basis, and each figure is stamped with the month it was captured. Clinic listings update as credentials, locations, or public reviews change. This page reflects our standards as of July 1, 2026.

7. Corrections

Found an outdated price, a wrong credential, or a listing that shouldn't be here? Tell us and we'll review it. Accuracy beats being first — if we're wrong, we fix it and re-date the figure.
